Mint, one of our favorite herbs. We often talk about the health benefits of fruits and veggies but did you know that herbs also have a ton of nutrients and have great health benefits? Mint is great for cooking. If you add herbs (like mint) to your dishes, it really boosts the flavor and leaves less room for adding salt. Adding mint leaves to tea is also good because it helps soothe your stomach.

Mint oil is used for several different remedies. It can be used as a topical ointment on your skin. It helps cool and calm your skin when you have a rash, insect bite or any other reaction.
If you suffer from heads or experience nausea, the aroma of mint is a quick remedy. Some people even carry menthol oil with them and dab it on their forehead or nose when they start to feel a headache coming on.
